DAPA Academy

Where Development Comes First.

A year-round basketball development program building complete student-athletes — on the court, in the classroom, and beyond.

About DAPA Academy

DAPA Academy is a New Jersey-based, year-round development program powered by the A1 Basketball curriculum. Led by Coach Allen Pritchett — a collegiate-trained basketball professional — DAPA operates on a simple belief: development is the path to exposure, not the other way around.

Unlike traditional AAU programs built around tournament schedules, DAPA Academy structures the entire year around athlete growth. Every phase is intentional — from fundamental skill development in the fall to collegiate preparation in the summer.

Admission to DAPA Academy is evaluation-based. Rosters are built with purpose, ensuring every athlete in the program is in the right environment to grow.

DAPA Academy operates in partnership with Paris Speed School and Rebound Physical Rehab, providing athletes with world-class athletic training, injury prevention, and recovery support.

Program Levels

DAPA Academy offers three tiers designed to meet athletes where they are and challenge them to grow.

Rise

Entry-level track for developing players building foundational skills, habits, and basketball IQ. Focus on fundamentals, coachability, and athletic development.

Elite

Intermediate track for athletes demonstrating consistent skill progression and competitive readiness. Emphasis on advanced skill work, positional development, and team play.

Select

Top-tier track for high-performing athletes preparing for collegiate-level competition. Priority placement in tournament exposure events, recruiting preparation, and scout evaluation opportunities.

Tier placement is determined through the evaluation process. Athletes may advance between levels based on performance and program standards.
